The Woodford County Conservation District offers the opportunity to apply for Environmental Education Community Non-School Grants on a limited basis. Up to $500 grants will be awarded. For more information about Environmental Education Non-School Grant, click on the application link below.
Teacher Donation Program
DEADLINE: March 20, 2024
The Woodford County Conservation District assists with monetary support for environmental projects for teachers who want to have a special project for their students. The Conservation District does this through our Teacher Donation Program. To apply for the Teacher Donation Program for funding up to $500 per project, click on the application link below.

Scholarships
Deadline now passed - look toward 2025
The Woodford County Conservation District awards two annual college scholarships in the amount of $3,000.00 and $2,000.00 to graduating seniors who are residents of Woodford County.
❧ Natural Resources Scholarship, $1,500 per semester for one year, high school senior enrolled in college/university or technical college w/ 3.0 GPA demonstrating financial need, intending to major in agriculture or natural resources (Woodford County residents only).
❧ Community/Technical/Trade School Scholarship, $1,000 per semester for one year, student enrolled or planning to enroll in a KY community or trade school w/ 2.5 GPA demonstrating financial need, intending to major in agriculture or related trade (Woodford County residents only).
The Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts (KACD) Auxilliary awarded three scholarships this year:
➳ KACD: Betty Barrick Scholarship, $1,000, 25+yrs old pursuing an undergraduate degree in agriculture or natural resources (KY-wide).
➳ KACD: George Grafton Memorial Scholarship, $1,000, high school senior enrolled in college, intending to major in agriculture or natural resources (KY-wide).
➳ KACD: Natural Resources Scholarship, $1,000, enrolled college student w/ declared major in agriculture or natural resources (KY-wide).
